Genevieve I. Mulholand, age 93, of Columbus, died peacefully Saturday, January 13, 2018, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Ernest R. Mulholand; her parents, Louis C. and Kathryn Florio; and brother, Louis Florio. Genny was devoted to her family and her faith. She is survived by her children, Kathleen (Ed) Whitson, Deborah (Link) Murphy, Nancy (Tony) Beck, Sue (Julio) Alexander, Mark (Bernadette) Mulholand; and her grandchildren, Jenny (Michael) Ensminger, Drew Whitson, Bobby (Colby) Murphy, Meghan (Steve) Wiseman, Brian (Stephanie) Beck, Kristen (Ed) Mangum, Ryan, Connor, and Sean Mulholand; great-grandchildren, Emily Ensminger, Camden and Calloway Murphy, and John Wiseman; nephews, Jeff and Jim Florio; and niece, Katie Burris; plus many great nieces and nephews. Genny was born July 6, 1924 in Columbus Ohio. She was a WWII veteran serving in the Coast Guard. She worked for many years with Florio Hair Design. Genny was a longstanding member of St. Stephen the Martyr Catholic Church. Friends may call Thursday, January 18, 2018 at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 W. Fifth Avenue, from 4:00-8:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, January 19, 2018 at Our Mother of Sorrows Chapel (within the grounds of St. Joseph Cemetery), 6440 S. High Street, Lockboune, Ohio. Rev. Fr. Vincent Nguyen, Presider. FRIENDS ARE ASKED TO MEET AT CHAPEL. Private entombment will follow.
