TILTON Gregory M. Tilton, PFC, US Army, age 20, of Worthington, Thursday, November 26, 2009 in Fort Riley, KS. He was born in Columbus, OH on December 15, 1988. He graduated from Thomas Worthington High School and attended Columbus State Community College. He graduated Army Basic Training in Fort Benning in June 2008. Greg served one tour in Operation Iraqi Freedom returning in October 2009. His awards from the Army were the Army Commendation Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Iraqi Campaign Medal with the Bronze Star, Army Service Ribbon and the Overseas Service Ribbon. He was preceded in death by grandparents Glenda Tilton and Lee Perry. Survived by wife, Molly; parents, Tim and Brenda Tilton; brothers, Jeff and Bradlee; grandparents, Ward (Pat) Tilton and Marlyn Perry. He is also survived by Molly's parents, Darrell and Beth Baird; brothers, Ben and Ryan; sisters, Emilie and Eva; grandfather, Dr. Jon Pensyl; numerous beloved uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and friends. Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. Wednesday, December 9, 2009 at RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, 515 High Street, Worthington, Ohio. Funeral Service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, December 10, 2009 at Worthington United Methodist Church, 600 High Street, Worthington, OH with interment to follow at Blendon Central Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to: Fisher House Foundation, Inc., 111 Rockville Pike, Suite 420, Rockville, MD 20850-5168 to assist soldiers with PTSD.
