Jack M. Woodworth Obituary
Woodworth Jack M. Woodworth, of Pickerington, age 91, born May 19, 1926, passed away June 25, 2017 at home. He was a devoted husband, proud father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was an avid golfer, gardener, and always made sure to enjoy life. He was a WWII veteran who served in the South Pacific and was honorably discharged as a Staff Sergeant from the Army. He served as Vice-President of the office supply division for the Continental Office Supply Co until retiring in 1985. Special thanks to Frank Kass, Ernie Stern, John and Jack Lucks for their valued support. He was also the past president of The Southeast Business Men's Association and The Southeast Lions Club. Member of The New England Lodge #0004, Aladdin Shrine, and The Legion of Honor. He was also a member of The Pickerington Church of the Nazarene. He was preceded in death by his mother Marie, father Bill, and sons Jack and Fred. He is survived by Lil (Kreutz), his loving and devoted wife of 70 years; as well as daughter-in-law, Judy (Boczar); numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Special thanks to his thoughtful and caring neighbors who have been an essential part of Jack's life. A celebration of Jack's life will be held Thursday, June 29 at The Pickerington Church of the Nazarene, 11775 Pickerington Rd., Pickerington, Ohio 43147. Calling hours will be from 12 noon-1 p.m. with a service to commence at 1 p.m. conducted by Pastor Phil Manson. A buffet lunch will follow.
