Jack Pieffer Obituary
Pieffer Jack Pieffer, of Grove City, Ohio, passed away on his 89th birthday June 16, 2017. He was born June 16, 1928 in Springfield, Ohio to the late Ross and Audrey Pieffer. Jack proudly served in the US Navy on the USS North Carolina during WWII. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge for 65 years and was knighted in The Grand Encampment of Knights Templar. He retired from Ford Motor Company where he worked as a design engineer for 25 years. Preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife of 45 years Dorothy "Dottie" Pieffer and sons Marvin and Doug. Survived by his children, Mark (Bridgette) Pieffer, Marcia Hart, Cheryl (Mike) Wheeler, Janet Henry and Dianna (Bob) Parker; ten grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Jack was a proud member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church , 3220 Columbus Street Grove City, Ohio, where his funeral will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. at THE SPENCE-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 2697 Columbus Street, Grove City, Ohio with a masonic service at 7:30 p.m. Interment will follow Wednesday after funeral service at Sunset Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church or Mt. Carmel Hospice in his memory. Online guest book may be signed at www.spencemillerfuneralhome.com
