Jacquelyn, "Jackie" A. Debus, 92 went to be with her Lord peacefully in her sleep on January 16, 2018 at her home in Canal Winchester, Ohio. Born on February 14, 1925 in Columbus, Ohio, she is preceded by her parents, John Roy and Cora Reiselt; her sister, Jeanette Beggrow, and her husband of almost 65 years, Herbert W. Debus, Jr. Jackie is survived by her two children, Julie Debus and Timothy Debus (Melanie); two granddaughters, Jaime Kettel (Jordan) and Megan Wilson (Brad); two great-grandchildren, Brody and Kenzie Kettel; cousin, Norman (Tom) Hellwig; niece, Alice Hann (Chris) and Gretchen; best friend, Bernice Lewis (Buck) and Brent Voight who was like a grandson to her. As well as nephews, nieces and close neighbors and friends. Jackie was a lifelong member of Zion Lutheran Church, Obetz where she was church secretary for 41 years. Jackie put God first in her life, devoted her time to family and friends and her church. We welcome Jackie's family and friends and all those who love her to her Celebration of Life Memorial Service on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at Zion Lutheran Church, 1080 Obetz Rd. Columbus, Ohio 43207 where visitation will be from 10:00am - 11:00 am. Service will follow at 11:00am with Pastor Matthew Cox, officiating. Arrangements by DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY. Jackie's family wishes to extend their gratitude to Mount Carmel Hospice for their caring support.
