Bellew, James
James Frank Bellew, age 97, of Worthington, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, March 8, 2018 at Heartland of Dublin. Frank was born on January 9, 1921 in Carter County, Kentucky. He served in the Navy during World War II, taught in Columbus Public Schools for over 25 years and owned a roofing company after retirement from the school district. Frank loved ballroom dancing with his late wife, Mary Lee. He is survived by his son, Terry (Diane) Bellew; grandsons Terence and Ryan Bellew; sister, Shirley Holt; sister-in-law, Helen Ewing; nephews, Gary (Brenda) Holt and Tim (Ruth) Holt; nieces, Kathy (Louis) Hoskinson, Kim (John) Kohler and Karen (John) Gilmore; as well as stepdaughter-in-law, Connie DeGraw; stepson, Chris (Terri) DeGraw; and stepgrandsons, Cory DeGraw and Lucas DeGraw. He is preceded in death by wife Mary Lee (DeGraw) Bellew, his parents, brother William Ewing, brother-in-law Jack Holt and stepson Jeffrey DeGraw. The family will receive friends from 10am-12 noon on Thursday, March 15 at Rutherford Corbin Funeral Home, 515 High St, in Worthington, Ohio.
