Baker James E. Baker, 95, passed away on April 7, 2017 in Houston, TX. He was born on 12-27-1921 in Columbus, OH to Theodore and Pearl Baker. Jim is survived by: his wife, Amy Irene Baker; daughters, Kathryn and Melanie; sons, Kenneth and Neil; sisters, Marilyn, Rita and Sharon; ten grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren, and numerous family members and friends. When his nation called he answered by joining the Army Air Corps serving as a pilot in the 8th Air Force stationed in England in WWII. He earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from The Ohio State University. Jim worked as a Technical Illustrator for North American Aviation/Rockwell. He had a passion for The Boy Scouts serving as a scout leader for 50 years. A memorial will be held on Sunday, April 9, 2017 at 1 p.m. at Brookdale Clear Lake, Webster, TX 77598. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a memorial donation in Jim Baker's memory may do so to Hospice or to the Fairmoor Presbyterian Church, 360 S. James Road, Columbus, OH 43013.
