Obituary Condolences

Davidson James Lee Davidson, 71, of Marengo, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, March 25, 2017 at his residence. He was born January 21, 1946 in Delaware, Ohio to the late James Walter Davidson and Ruth Hazel (Skeels) Davidson. He proudly served his country as a sergeant in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. Jim worked in maintenance and landscaping for Upper Arlington Schools for over 30 years and was a longtime resident of Marengo. Left to cherish his memory are his sons, William "Bill" Davidson and Michael (Beth) Davidson of Kenton; grandchildren, Alanna Nicole Davidson and Daniel James Davidson; sister, Alice Foley of Mt. Gilead. In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his wife Annetta and a sister Virginia Davidson. The family will receive friends on Friday, March 31, 2017 from 10-11 a.m. at the SNYDER RODMAN FUNERAL CENTER, 101 Valleyside Drive (formerly 1510 W. William Street), Delaware, where funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. with Pastor Don Lockwood officiating. Burial will follow in Cheshire Cemetery with military honors provided by the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 1095.
