James Thomas Obituary
Thomas, James
James Dale Thomas was born on September 7, 1959 in Monroe. One of seven children born from the union of the late Richard Dale Thomas and Joyce Ann (Brown) Thomas, James was raised in Maybee, where he loved to play America's pastime of baseball. He attended Monroe High School and graduated with the Class of 1977. James spent most of his career in sales, selling plumbing supplies, janitorial supplies and logistics services. James and two of his brothers were proud to say that they had begun their own business known as Commodity Logistics. For the past four years, James was employed as the Director of Business Development for Saddlecreek Logistics. He enjoyed the finer things, among which included quality time with wife, Jennifer, vacations with family and quiet evenings with his dog Lucky. James Dale Thomas, age 57, of Worthington, Ohio, passed away at 4:40 p.m. on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at Kobacker House in Columbus. His passing was preceded by his father. To cherish his memory, James leaves his wife, Jennifer Thomas of Worthington; two sons, Tyler James Thomas of Toledo and Corporal Austin James Thomas of Camp Lejeune, North Carolina; mother, Joyce Thomas of Florida; three brothers, Jeffrey Thomas of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Richard (Kim) Thomas Jr. of Ida, and Clifford Thomas of Colorado; and three sisters, Tonia (Larry) Bobich of Monroe, Diana (Dennis) Hoffman of Culleoka, Tennessee, and Leslie (Jason) Wheat of Marysville, Tennessee.
