Bell Jamie Williams Bell, age 57, of Upper Arlington, passed away peacefully at home with his loving family by his side on Thursday, August 21, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents Floyd W. and Trudy Bell, sister Beverly Benua, and brothers David Bell and John Gerlach. Jamie was currently working as Chairman of the Board with Floyd Bell, Inc. He previously was an Associate Professor of History at Chadron State College where he authored a book entitled "Born a Rebel, The Life and Times of Nebraska Cattleman Charles Franklin Coffee". Jamie will be forever remembered by his loving companion and caretaker, Darla Brewer; beloved children, Zachary Floyd Bell and Mariah Mae (Dolly) Bell, and their mother, Lesa; and many nieces and nephews. His family cherishes the memories of his faithful love for all. Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, August 25, 2014 at First Community Church, 1320 Cambridge Blvd., Columbus, where family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until time service. Interment Union Cemetery. Contributions may be made to PKD Foundation, OSU Kidney Transplant, or to Chadron State College (History Dept.). Arrangements by SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL.
