Obituary Condolences

Lacey Jane Linn Williams Lacey, 96, lifelong resident of Worthington, passed Thursday, July 6, 2017. Jane was preceded in death by beloved husband, C. Eugene Lacey, parents Allen and Helen Williams, daughter Melinda Houfek and grandson Thomas B. Lacey. Jane is survived by children, Thomas Lacey and Janene (Kurt) Paulus; grandchildren, Richard (Audra) Lacey, Robert (Crystal) Chrisman III, Chelsea (Brett) Cobb, Nathanael Paulus, Kelsey (Patrick) Esber; and several great grandchildren. Jane was a graduate of The Ohio State University, where she was a member of Phi Upsilon Omicron and Omicron Nu, home economics honorary societies and Mirrors. She taught in Columbus Public Schools, was a lifelong member of Bethel United Methodist Church and was a member of the DAR. Jane was an intelligent woman who enjoyed collecting antiques and loved to travel. Jane will be sadly missed by family and friends. A visitation will be held on Monday, July 10, 2017 from 1-2 p.m. with a service to follow at 2 p.m. at RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, 515 Hight St, Worthington, Ohio. Interment will be held at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Worthington, Ohio. Condolences may be made to the family at www.rutherfordfuneralhome.com
