For the past 20 years, she was a dedicated Chinese language teacher at Columbus Academy. Known as 'Fan Laoshi', she was the primary teacher at the start of the program and helped build it from 2 to 160 students and from one to three teachers. She wanted the best for the students and the program, and most importantly, Fan Laoshi was always there for her students. Jeannine was active in church activities. She worked her way through the Emmaus Walk positions finally becoming an Emmaus Walk Leader. She gave her time for many years to the Chinese community, developing the teaching curriculum for the various classes. Prior to joining Academy, she was a gifted artist and was a private art teacher for many students. One of her loves was serving as advisor for the Christian Fellowship Journey 511 at Academy. She is survived by her mother, Jian Yun Rao Fan; her husband, Greg; her children, Daniel and Tracy; her sister, Lois Hwang; her brothers, Liang Shi Fan and Liang Fu Fan; daughter-in-law, Angel; and two grandchildren, Abby and Benji.
