Jerolene Doretha "Geraldine" Reynolds Wooten, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, on Monday, July 24, 2017 surrounded by her family. Born in Ridgeway, Virginia on February 2, 1939 to the late George Clarence Reynolds and Carrie Elizabeth Mitchell Reynolds. "Gerrie" retired from Lucent Technologies after 37 years of dedicated service. She served as Finance and Trustee Board Secretary at Travelers' Rest Missionary Baptist Church for over 30 years. She is survived by her husband, George L. Wooten, Jr.; children, Deborah Hall, Carleton C. Hall Jr., Cynthia (Herbert) Leveringston and George L. Wooten III; grandchildren, Martin, Martina (Sarvone), Carlton and Mario; seven great-grandchildren; her siblings, Lucille Morris, Patricia (Charlie) Smith, George (Linda) Reynolds, Aaron Reynolds, Sr., Helen Reynolds, Gwendolyn Smith and Cassandra (Edward) Jordan; numerous nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, she is also preceded in death by her brother Clarence Elijah Reynolds. Home Going Service 12 noon Saturday, July 29, 2017 at Travelers' Rest Missionary Baptist Church, 1533 Cleveland Ave., Columbus, OH 43211, where her family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to the time of service.
