I am sorry for loss of your father. I went to grade school and college with him. He was kind and gentle. He was great with British history.
We kept in touch mainly with Christmas letters until the last couple of years.

John was a very good friend to me. When I needed help winning trivia games, he gave me all the answers. We talked about St. Paul church, religion, politics, history and of all things Tanya Harding, his favorite ice skater. I watched him get ready to meet friends at
the Mohawk in German Village. I saw him so handsomely dressed for his daughter's wedding. We had fun and I will be forever thankful for his kindness and help.
