A 1982 graduate of Father Joseph Wehrle Memorial High School and a 1987 graduate of The Ohio State University, Joe earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Photography and Cinema and was a scholar athlete in track and field, earning four varsity letters. Joe was employed at the State of Ohio, owned a professional photography business and was actively involved in the church and local community. He was a mentor to many local, young athletes. Joe was named the 2017 Diocese of Columbus Catholic Man of the Year and was a Knight of the Order of Peter Claver. He was also Vice Chair of the Never Quit Scholarship Foundation.
