Judith Anderson Obituary
Anderson, Judith
1944 - 2018
Judith (Judy) Ann Anderson, 74, passed away peacefully Thursday, April 5, 2018, in the hospice care of Mt. Carmel St. Ann's Hospital in Westerville, OH. Judy was born on January 14, 1944 in Chicago, IL. She graduated from Wheaton Academy and then went on to graduate from Carthage College with a degree in education. Judy was a hardworking, fair, honest, bright, witty and giving wife, daughter, mother, grandmother and friend. Judy was a fighter until the end of her life and would always stand up for what was right; she would fiercely defend her loved ones or a helpless stranger if she believed in the cause. Judy enjoyed spending time with family, especially her grandchildren and getting together with friends. She had a quick wit and people continue to exchange funny stories about her. Judy was a member of Liberty Presbyterian Church. Judy had several careers throughout her lifetime, but her favorite "job" was caring for her grandchildren. Judy is preceded in death by her parents George and Ethel Musselman, brother Ken Musselman and late husband Stephen Miller. She is survived by her devoted husband David Anderson, children Christopher (Amy) Miller and Jennifer (Ron Jacobs) Maynard, brother Terry (Terri) Musselman, sister Nancy (John) Faust, cousin Carolyn (Wally) Miller, beloved grandchildren Nate, Ben, Maggie, Chloe, Bryn and Makenna and stepchildren Julie, Jill, Jennifer, Eric, Noel and Sheila. The family would like to thank Dr. Grace Ukairo and the entire nursing staff on 3 South at St. Ann's hospital for their exceptional care, kind nature and compassion. Calling hours will be held Friday, April 13, at Rutherford Corbin Funeral Home, 515 High Street, Worthington, OH 43085 from 6pm-8pm. A private memorial service will take place Saturday at the family's home church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National (stroke.org) or Mt. Carmel St. Ann's (donor.mountcarmelfoundation.org). To send condolences to the family, please visit www.rutherfordfuneralhome.com
