Russelo Karen S. Russelo, age 61, of Columbus, formerly of Washington Court House, passed away Sunday, May 7, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. Retired from Huntington Bank and a Gold Star Mother, Karen was more than a friend, mother or wife. She was a shoulder to cry on, the life of the party, the one to be there in a pinch when anyone needed her. She loved her family, animals, kids, Harleys, cooking, camping and garage sales. Karen had tremendous empathy, was the rock and a strong force for those in her life. Survived by her husband, David Turner; daughter, Amy Pomante (Eddie Mejia); granddaughter, Audrey Mae Mejia; step-son, Christopher Turner; brother, William B. (Catherine) Russelo, Jr.; sister, Paula (Wayne) Entrekin; several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her son V.J. Pomante, parents William B. and Pauline Russelo, Sr. and her brother Jerry L. Russelo. Friends may call at the MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, 55 E. Schrock Road, Westerville, Wednesday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., where service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. Fr. Tony Dinovo, presiding. Private interment, Blendon Central Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the V.J. Pomante III Memorial Scholarship Fund, payable to Columbus State Foundation, 550 E.
