Kenneth Michael Hamme, passed away on February 13, 2018 at St. Ann's Hospital at the tender age of 20 after two and a half years battling a chronic illness. He was born in Mansfield, Ohio on March 7, 1997 to Steven and Tamara Johnson Hamme. Kenneth graduated from the Delaware Area Career Center in May 2015 in Construction Technologies where his passion for building helped him excel. Kenneth was an avid lover of hockey and played for many local teams as a defenseman. He also enjoyed music, the outdoors, The Columbus Blue Jackets, video games and his pets Khloe and Bella. Kenneth was a regular donator to the American Red Cross where he was so proud to know that he has helped save many lives with his contributions. Kenneth was such a compassionate person and was always ready to help others. His sense of humor and always looking at things in positive ways will be so greatly missed. He is survived by his parents, Steven and Tamara of Galena; his sister, Nicole Hamme; maternal grandparents, Janet Jewell and the late Robert "Buck" Jewell of Delaware; paternal grandparents, Joanne Hamme and the late Dennis Hamme of Cambridge. He is also survived by his girlfriend, Jade Daugherty; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. His family will receive friends from 1-3pm, Sunday, February 18, 2018 at SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 6699 N. High Street in Worthington (1/2 mile South of I-270), where his Funeral Service will follow at 3pm that afternoon.
