Kramer Laura Kay Kramer, age 70, of Anchorage, Alaska died Friday, February 24, 2017 at the Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, Washington. She perished from injuries sustained in an arson set fire occurring at her residence on February 15, 2017. She was born on February 7, 1947 in Columbus to the late Jean and Catherine L. (Stout) Laucher. Laura graduated from Centerburg High School in 1965. Unique in every way, she enjoyed fine arts such as ballroom dance, visiting art museums and listening to classical music. She worked as an in home care provider and house keeper. Originally from Ohio, Laura had been a resident of Alaska for the past 13 years. She will be remembered for her special caring ways. She is survived by her children, Corrine (Doug) Hanna of Sunbury, Ohio, Carl Kramer of Clearwater, Florida; grandchildren, Hayleigh, Tessa, Caleb, and Levi Hanna; brother, Larry Laucher; sisters, Carol Albee, Anita (Jack) Miller, Amy (Sean) Flournoy, Linda Durbin; nieces, nephews, and extended family. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband Harvey Kramer in 1980. Graveside service will be observed privately by her family in Trenton Cemetery with Pastor Jim Dreisbach officiating. Arrangements entrusted to DeVORE-SNYDER FUNERAL HOME, Sunbury.
