Lester J. Yoder, 82, went home to be with his Lord & Savior November 22, 2017, with his family by his side at Madison County Hospital in London, OH. He experienced a major stroke this past June and after spending months in a rehab facility he was able to be at home the last 3 weeks of his life. He was born October 14, 1935, in Hicksville, OH to his parents John B. and Sara (Coblentz) Yoder. Lester is survived by his wife, Ada Mae (Miller) Yoder; sons and spouses, Rod and Tina Yoder of London, OH, John and Christy Yoder of Berlin, OH; daughter and spouse, Jenny and Daniel Helmuth of London, OH; 10 grandchildren; 1 great grandson; 4 sisters, Mary Yoder of Millersburg, IN, Erma Hostetler and Sara Mae (Alvin) Troyer, both of Plain City, OH, Edna Fae of Chateau, OK; 5 sisters-in-law, Mabel, Claribel, and Wilma all of Plain City, OH, Fannie of Hicksville, OH, Erma of Hilliard, OH. He was preceded in death by his grandchildren Colton Yoder and Shyanne Helmuth, parents John B. and Sara (Coblenz) Yoder, 7 brothers Alvin of Hicksville, OH, John Henry of Plain City, OH, Howard of Hicksville, OH, Mose and Menno of Plain City, OH, Freeman of Hilliard, OH, Lloyd of Plain City, OH, sister-in-law Fannie Mae of Plain City, OH. Visitation will be held from 5-8 PM Monday, November 27, 2017 at Shiloh Mennonite Church, 7521 Woods West Avenue, London, OH, where funeral services will be held 10 AM Tuesday, November 28, 2017 with visitation one hour prior from 9-10 AM Tuesday.
