Margaret Clark Obituary
Clark, Margaret
Margaret M. Clark, 72, of Fredericktown, was called home by her Lord and Savior on Thursday morning, March 8, 2018. She was born March 8, 1946 in Columbus to the late William and Catherine (Stanton) Whalen. Margaret was a faithful member of the New Life Community Church in Fredericktown. She retired from the Ohio Parole Board, where she worked as a Victim Advocate. Margaret and husband, Jerry operated a food pantry in Westerville before moving to Fredericktown. She continued her helping ways by volunteering at the Interchurch Social Services in Fredericktown. Margaret was one who enjoyed helping the less fortunate and taking care of people when they had heatlh issues. In her spare time, she liked to go camping, working in her flower beds, going dancing, taking vacations to the beach, visiting Amish country, but most of all she loved spending time with family and friends. Margaret is survived by her husband of over 50 years, Jerry L. Clark; their children, Cherie (Brian) Mannino of Lewis Center and Craig (Christine) Clark of Curlew, WA; grandson, Beau Mannino of Lewis Center; sister, Patricia Schirtzinger of Columbus; brothers, John (Mary Jane) Whalen and Pat Whalen of Columbus; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in by a brother William Whalen. The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until the time of a memorial service celebrating the life of Margaret at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at the New Life Community Church, 9955 Mount Gilead Rd., Fredericktown.
