Patterson Margie E. (Tracy) Patterson, age 89, of Pickerington, died Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at her residence. Born August 3, 1927 in Hardin County to the late Herman L. and Rachael (Ford) Tracy. She was the former office manager for Gillespie Buick and Gillespie Oil in Bellefontaine, then worked 13 years at Ricart Motors and 35 years at Spitzer Dodge in Columbus. She was a member and past-president of Pickerington Lioness Club; she was a Den Mother for Pickerington Cub Scout Troop 256; was an avid fan of the Cincinnati Reds, Bengals and Pickerington Tigers; and was a member of Christ United Methodist Church in Baltimore. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, James Patterson; children, Charles (Vicky) Shank, Blacklick, Wayne (Maureen) Patterson, Pickerington, and Jeffrey Patterson, North Carolina; grandchildren, Caren (C.J.) Sisler, Andy (Laura) Shank, Cathy Patterson, Phillip (Angela) Patterson, Stephen (Lynn) Patterson, Brian Patterson, Bradley Patterson, Angie (Charles) Larivierer, Jamie (Becky) Patterson, Jeana Patterson, Jason (Jenny) Schutte, Eric (Lori) Schutte; many great-grandchildren; brother, Norman K. (Roxie) Tracy; and several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her sons Edwin Samuel Patterson and Jimmy Patterson, brothers Edwin, Harold, Robert and James Tracy, sisters Audrey Wallace, Dorothy Nickell, Jane Jenkins, Ann Miller and father- and mother-in-law Hugh and Sara Patterson. Friends may visit 3-6 p.m. Sunday at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, 550 Hill Road N. (St. Rt. #256), Pickerington, where funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday with the Rev.
