Whitney, Mary K.
Mary Kay (Malchow) Whitney, 58, of Worthington, OH, passed away unexpectedly on February 1, 2018 with loving family by her side. She was born in Ripon, WI on May 16, 1959 to Richard and Mary Malchow. She married Craig Whitney of Westerville, OH in June of 1990. She worked as office manager for Craig Whitney & Co from 1990-2007 where her focus was customer service, along with the administrative duties. She was currently employed by Fire & Ice Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc. where she worked in HR and accounting services. Mary was very dedicated to her duties as an accountant and bookkeeper. One of her proudest achievements was earning her Accounting Degree. First and foremost, Mary was a loving mother, wife, daughter, sister and friend. She went out of her way to make people comfortable with her outgoing personality, sense of humor, and infectious smile. Her intent was to leave people feeling good, whether with a kind word or strumming a tune on her guitar. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Preceded in death by her dear, loving father Richard D. Malchow. Survived by her loving mother, Mary C. "Piper" Malchow of Waupun, WI; loving son, Bryan and his wife, Allison "Laine" Lauritzen; grandson, Cade Lauritzen, all of Pulaski, WI; brother, Richard (Jean "Birschbach") Malchow; nieces, Katie and Jenny Malchow, all of Black River Falls, WI; sister, Teresa "Malchow"(Clarence) Meisel of Portage, WI; nephews, Trevor Meisel, also of Portage and Sawyer Meisel of Madison, WI; special friend, Graham Smith of Worthington, OH; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and extended Whitney family. Her family would like to extend a thank you to all of her friends and associates who constantly stood by her. She dearly loved each and every one of you.
