Mary Kathleen Yingst, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at the Laurels of Hilliard, Ohio. She was born to the late Elmer and Kathleen Yingst on November 3, 1950 in Leonardtown, Maryland. Her mother passed away when she was four and a half years old so she was raised by her older sister, Mildred and her husband, Warren Wince. She is predeceased by her parents; her sister, Mildred; her brothers, Edmond, Butch, Jay, and Francis; and her precious great nephew, Dominic. She is survived by her beloved sister, Donna and Tom, her husband. Donna and Mary had a unique relationship, a special bond, best friends that were always there for each other. She was blessed to have her brother-in-law, Tom that loved her like a sister too. Also surviving is her best friend, Barbara Heretta who was more like a sister than friend; her siblings, Judy (John) Nelson, Louis (Linda) Wince, Sheila (George) Morris, and Donnie (Trish) Wince. She had an extremely close bond with her sister's children, Nicki and Tommy. She was crazy about her great nephews and nieces, Geramiah, Anastasia, Michaela, Isabella, Elijah, Brangwain, and many more. She was Auntie to her nieces and nephews and also all of their friends. Mary worked many years with Individuals with Developmental Disabilities. She had a special rapport and bond with these individuals. She was an avid Atlanta Braves fan in good and bad times. Mary was loyal to QVC and they will miss her. She was such a warm and giving person, loved by so many people and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Memorial contributions may be made Mt. Carmel Hospice. Many thanks to her oncologist, Dr. Segal, the Mt. Carmel Hospice group, and the staff at the Laurels of Hilliard. A memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, August 17, 2017 at 10:00AM at St. Christopher Catholic Church, 1420 Grandview Ave., Columbus, Ohio 43212.
