Maurice "Butch" Osborne, age 73, passed away November 9, 2017. He was born July 9, 1944 in South Shore, KY to the late Crite and Louise Osborne. Preceded in death by his parents; sister Clotine Myers; nephews Roger Myers and Mike Myers. Survived by beloved wife of 47 years Judy Osborne; daughter Lisa Osborne and son Mark Osborne; brother Harold (Mildred) Osborne; sister-in-law Sue Ellen French; many nieces and nephews along with his great-nieces and nephews; his three special girls Dawn Foster, Heather Siemer, and Arica Bonvechio and their families; and many good friends that he considered family. Butch proudly served in the United States Air Force. He was a retired engineer of Norfolk and Southern Railroad. He was a member of Columbus Elks Club, The American Legion, and The Moose Lodge. Butch loved the winters spent in Florida. Boating was his passion and he loved fishing off the piers. He loved flea markets. No matter where he traveled he wanted to visit the flea markets. He was an avid sports fan especially his Kentucky basketball, Notre Dame football, and New York Yankees baseball. Butch's sense of humor was beyond measure. His laughter, funny stories, and comebacks will forever be with all who knew him. Visitation will be Thursday November 16, 2017 at Newcomer, Grove City, OH from 6-8pm and again on Friday November 17, 2017 at Roberson Funeral Home, South Shore, KY from 11-12pm followed by a 12pm memorial service. Burial to follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery. In lieu of flowers Butch asked donations be made to benefit Dakota Miller in care of Jennifer Miller at any American Savings Bank.
