Obituary Condolences

Becker Michael E. Becker, age 55, of Delaware, passed away Saturday, April 22, 2017 surrounded by his family at Kobacker House in Columbus. He was born on August 28, 1961 in Columbus to the late Lawrence Becker and JoAnn (Denney) Lowry. Mike is survived by his beloved wife of 36 years, Kathryn (Stacy); daughter, Tia (Mike) Miller; son, Michael; three grandchildren who he adored, Brianna, Natalie, and Logan; brother, George Becker; sisters, Nancy Becker, Kristal, and Cheryl Lowry; nieces, nephews; parents-in-law, Leo and Janet Stacy; and grandmother-in-law, Mary Burdette. He was also preceded in death by his sister Penny and step-father Thomas Lowry. In addition to being a loving husband, father, and grandfather, he was formerly a painting contractor for over 25 years. A big teddy bear at heart, he was always helpful. He enjoyed traveling and favored San Francisco. Mike was gifted at making old things new and it was said that if he could not fix it, no one could. He will be remembered for his goofy sense of humor, caring ways, and love of family. Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. at the SNYDER-RODMAN FUNERAL CENTER, 101 Valleyside Dr. at W. William St., Delaware, where services will be held 11 a.m. on Friday, officiated by his sister-in-law Rev. Penny Stacy. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Kobacker House. Condolences may be expressed at www.snyderfuneralhomes.com
