Miriam 'Toody' Baker was born in Columbus, Ohio on December 17, 1924 and passed away on October 21, 2017. Toody was proceeded in death by her parents Herbert and Anna (Margulies) Baker. Toody was a member of the Ohio State Mothers Club and the Tifereth Israel Congregation. Toody was a long time employee of the State of Ohio as a Claims Examiner from which she retired. Toody was a sports enthusiast who loved most sports including watching her Ohio State University Buckeyes along with watching professional golf. She also loved going to baseball games, especially the Cincinnati Reds. She also loved going to Scotty's Café every time she was out on the town. Toody is survived by many family members including Toody Goodman and her children Randy Stirers, Brad Goodman, Debra Holzman and Adam Goodman, cousins Larry Wolf (NJ) and Harley Wolf (CA), Ann Janiak, Susie Corcoran and Ben Corcoran, Greg Margulies, Carol Stoff, Marc (Janice) Lichtenstein, Dr. Mark Levy, and special friends Carol (John) and Ann Martin. A special thank you to Abbey, Renee and Elizabeth and staff at the Wexner Hospice group. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, October 24 at 2:30 PM at the New Tifereth Israel Cemetery, 2565 Performance Way.
