Nema D. Bobo Obituary
Bobo Nema D. Bobo, March 20, 1928-July 3, 2017. A funeral service for Nema D. Bobo, 89, of Newark, will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 7, 2017 at the Utica Church of Christ, 115 N. Central Ave., Utica with Pastor Doug Swan officiating. Burial will follow in South Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, July 6, 2017 at LAW-BAKER FUNERAL HOME, 34 N. Main St., Utica. Nema passed away peacefully on July 3, 2017 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born March 20, 1928, in Hawks, OH to the late Andrew and Martha (Shifflet) Erwin. She was a member of the Utica Church of Christ and worked at Watts Restaurant for 26 years specializing in noodles and pie baking. Nema was the oldest of 12 children with five sisters and six brothers. She loved spending time with family, traveling with her children all over the United States, Hawaii and Mexico. Buckeye football, bird watching and playing cards. She was a friend to anyone who was blessed to know her, Nema's family is comforted to have such a loving angel to watch over them. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Rachel Bobo; daughters and sons-in-law, Nancy and Mike Davis, Linda Rutter, Brenda and Terry Farley, Diane and Jeff Gockenbach; 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Thomas M. Bobo who passed away May 23, 2000; and son-in-law Paul Rutter.
