Norma J. (Speakman) Pollock Obituary
Pollock (Speakman), Norma J.
1929 - 2018
Norma J. (Speakman) Pollock went to join many loved ones in Heaven during the early hours of March 15, 2018. What a long awaited reunion it was for all of her loved ones waiting at the Heavenly gates for her. We know she is in the arms of her beloved son, Allan. Survived by 3 daughters, Carol (John) Irvin Mt Sterling, Susan (Butch) Bolin, Ormond Beach, FL and Tina (Don) Reinhart, Ft Wayne, Indiana; 11 grandchildren, Krista, Hollie, Troy, Heath, Andrea, Nick, Brandi, Lisa, Brian, Donnie and Whitney; 28 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; and her protector and four legged friend, Moglie. She is preceded in death by her former husband Hubert Pollock, son Allan Pollock, 12 siblings along with their spouses. Mom was full of life, a jokester with a very young heart. She built B-1 Bomber airplanes at Rockwell International, was a Supervisor with the City of Columbus Water Division, retiring at the age of 75. She moved to Ft Wayne, Indiana at the age of 84 where she met many new friends and became a socialite at Park Place Senior Living. The local TJ Maxx, Marshalls and Kohl's stores may be forced to close with Mom no longer walking through their doors. She has been described as stubborn, protective, a force of over bearing love, and she would have given you her last dollar. Heaven truly gained a strong willed angel. Mom, your legacy will continue for many years to come. Friends may visit Tuesday, March 20, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at The Grove City Church of The Nazarene, 4770 Hoover Road, Grove City, Ohio, where her funeral will be held 10 AM Wednesday. Interment will follow at Pleasant Cemetery in Mt. Sterling. Arrangements completed with THE SPENCE-MILER FUNERAL HOME, Grove City, Ohio, where online guest book may be signed at www.spencemillerfuneralhome.com
