Paul Weinstock

Weinstock Paul Weinstock, age 66, passed away on Sunday, May 8, 2016. Preceded in death by his parents Esther and Sydney. Survived by his wife, Randi Weinstock; daughters, Allyson Lierl (Brian) and Gayle Calhoun (Brian); sons, Jeremy (Rachel) and Eric (Andrea) Cohen; grandchildren, Ma'ayan, Matias, Benyamin, and Aya; brother, Alan (Tammy) Weinstock. Paul was born in Hartford, CT and received his undergraduate degree from University of Pennsylvania before going on to earn a law degree from Boston University and a MBA from The Ohio State University. Paul worked as a lawyer and a real estate agent before finding his true calling as an educator. Paul was not only an award winning senior lecturer at OSU, teaching courses in finance and real estate, but also taught at Kaplan College and tutored students privately. He had a strong love for music and a beautiful voice that he used to fill family and social events with song, often writing his own songs for those he loved. Paul took great joy in spending time with his three grandchildren and was looking forward to welcoming two more to the family. Above all Paul will be remembered for his loving personality, easily forming lasting friendships and loving his in-laws and step children as if they had always been in his family. Memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday at EPSTEIN MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 3232 E. Main St., Columbus. Shiva will be observed Thursday at the Calhoun residence in Reynoldsburg. Shiva will be observed Friday at the Bernard residence in Gahanna. In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to a charity of your choosing in his memory.
