Ralph Morgan McBurney, age 95, passed away November 15, 2017 at Westminster Thurber Community. Retired teacher, Columbus Public Schools. Member of O.E.A. Veteran, U.S. Army, WWII. Member of Broad Street Presbyterian Church, former member of Indianola Presbyterian Church and Maple Grove United Methodist Church. Preceded in death by wife Eleanor, parents Wales and Mary (Piersol) McBurney, step-mother Rhea Hart McBurney, sisters Ruth McElveen, Izola Kiner, and Rhea May Sette-Ducati and brother Dean McBurney. Survived by daughters, Patricia Millett and Kathryn (Patrick) Adamson; brother, Robert (Martha) McBurney; and sister, Martha Rinehart. Also survived by grandchildren, Emily (Pete) Collura, Jennifer (Mark) Storts, Ann (Paul) Millett-Gallant, Matt (Mary Pat) Adamson, Dan (Emily) Adamson and Sarah (Dave) Pritchard; 14 great-grandchildren. Memorial Service 11 a.m. Saturday, November 18, 2017 at the Chapel at Ohio Living Westminster-Thurber Community, 717 Neil Ave., Columbus, OH 43215, where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
