Wagner, Rebecca
1956 - 2018
Rebecca Lee "Becky" Wagner (Moore), 62, of Upper Arlington, OH, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on February 18, 2018. She fought a long and tough battle with pancreatic cancer. Becky was born on February 11, 1956 in Portsmouth, OH. She graduated from Portsmouth High School in 1974. Becky received her Bachelor of Science in Home Economics from The Ohio State University in 1979. She was also a member of the Delta Delta Delta sorority at Ohio State. Throughout her lifetime, Becky was employed by Abercrombie and Fitch, Value City, and Defense Supply System, where she was a buyer. She was also a member of the Upper Arlington Lutheran Church. Most important to Becky was time spent with her family and friends. She enjoyed traveling and attending sporting events, especially Ohio State football games and her daughters' high school and college sports events. Her loving, caring, and giving personality was well known to all. Her smile would brighten the darkest day and her laughter would fill your heart with joy. Becky knew no strangers and she welcomed and accepted anyone she met. Becky married Richard A. Wagner on August 11, 1990, and they have two daughters Nicole L. Wagner and Lauren L. Wagner. Also survived by her brother, Richard Moore; two nieces; and two nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Margaret Moore and her brother Robert Moore. She will be deeply missed by her friends, family, and all of those who knew her. She was an amazing wife, mother, and friend. Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8pm on Friday, February 23, at Schoedinger Northwest Chapel, 1740 Zollinger Rd., Upper Arlington, OH 43221, where a celebration of life will be held at 12noon on Saturday, February 24. Private burial of the urn in Portsmouth, OH, will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please donate to The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network at www.PanCAN.org, in her memory.
