Richard Allen "Dick" Haughn Obituary
Haughn Richard Allen "Dick" Haughn, 83, of Grove City, passed away Wednesday, June 21, 2017. He was born December 12, 1933 in Grove City, Ohio to the late Clarence and Wilhemina (Jahn) Haughn. Dick was a very generous friend. He never hesitated to help in any way that he could. He enjoyed going to the horse races at Beulah Park and was a diehard Kentucky Wildcats basketball fan. He was retired from Buckeye Steel Castings. In recent years, Dick enjoyed walking and was a member of the YMCA Silver Sneakers. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Wilber and Donald Haughn and sister Margaret Contosta. He is survived by his son, Randall Haughn; sisters, Ms. Edna Sothard and Doris (Larry) Beach; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday, June 26, 2017 at the SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY CHAPEL, 3920 Broadway, Grove City. Graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday at Concord Cemetery.
