Obituary Condolences

Pansing Richard Evans Pansing, 83, of Delaware, OH and formerly of Centerburg, OH, passed away Tuesday morning, April 11, 2017 at his residence. He was born August 19, 1933 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late William Frederick and Jane King (Dickey) Pansing and later graduated from Mt. Healthy High School in 1952. While attending the University of Cincinnati in 1955, he met his future wife of 62 years, Phyllis Sinclair on a blind date. He then went on to receive his Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy from the University of Cincinnati in 1956. Richard worked for Stoltz Pharmacy in Logan, Ohio and later owned and operated the Georgetown Pharm in Delaware and the Marion RX Drugs in Marion. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and painting and he also authored 6 books for which he was very proud. He served as an associate pastor at Believer's Assembly Church in Delaware for 28 years and was a volunteer with Habitat for Humanity building houses. He also traveled to 26 countries and all 50 states a dream fulfilled. Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Phyllis; children, Markson R. Pansing of Prescott, Arizona, Linda D. (David) Kaser of Delaware and Scott P. (Linda) Pansing of Delaware; grandchildren, Nicholas (Sarah), Farrah and Joseph (Jennifer) Kaser; great granddaughter, Tatum Kaser; and great grandsons, Bradley Kaser and Tank Winegar; sister, Jane (Carl) Hafer of Cincinnati. In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his brother William Pansing. The family will receive friends on Friday, April 14, 2017 from 12 noon-1 p.m. at the SNYDER RODMAN FUNERAL CENTER, 101 Valleyside Drive (formerly 1510 W. William Street), Delaware, where funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. Burial will then be held in Sunbury Memorial Park.
