Obituary Condolences

Kiefer Ronnie Terry Kiefer, 77, passed away on March 15, 2017 with her loving daughter, Deborah, by her side. A memorial service will be held Sunday, April 2 at 3 p.m. at Bethel Presbyterian Church, 1735 Bethel Rd. All friends are invited. Ronnie was born in Columbus on February 3, 1940. She was a graduate of West High School, continued her education earning her real estate license in Warren, and for many years, owned Designs by Ronnie. Above all she loved children--her own and other's--choosing work with many special needs children with autism and Angelman syndrome. Her work with children was commended in letters from both Governor George Voinovich and Attorney General Janet Reno. Ronnie was a gourmet chef and later pursued a career in food and beverage management. She worked at One to One in Giant Eagle on Bethel Road up to the day she was diagnosed with cancer. She was predeceased by her her husband of 39 years, Karl Kiefer, and her parents Ray and Myrtle "June" Terry. She is survived by her brother, Charles Terry of Orient; devoted children, Deborah (Richard) Evans of Columbus, Matthew (Deborah) Reed of Tacoma, Wa.; and step-daughter, Kimberley Kiefer (Michael) Kahn; her treasured grandchildren, Kenneth (Oneanong) Pundsack, Kraig (Katie) Buschmann, Harry and Lucy Hurley; and cherished great-grandchildren, Cheyenne, Anthony, Isaiah, Jaden, Mariah and Daniel. She will be missed by her nephew, Ashton (Elizabeth); great-nephew, Ashton, Jr.; and great-niece, Madeline. Ronnie will be lovingly remembered by her family, and her many long time friends from the Bethel Presbyterian Church.
