Our dear, sweet Sid! I had the privilege of having Sid for my Delta Zeta pledge sister at the Univ. of Wisconsin - La Crosse. What a goof-ball! Sid made everything fun. During our most difficult times, she was a beautiful ray of sunshine to brighten us all and get us giggling. Such a bundle of energy! No wonder God wants her there with Him. My sympathy to Sid's family during this difficult time.

It's hard to believe that the last time I saw Sidney's smiling face she was directing traffic at Herbert Mills Elementary so I could get out in my school bus. We last shared a chuckle and a smile when I told her how old we both were getting since my daughter, one of her students back in fourth grade, had graduated and was now working. I will cherish that memory as much as I always will cherish the difference she made in my child's life as a Special Education teacher at Rosehill Elementary. I hope you rest in peace Sid, knowing that you touched and made a real difference in the lives of many in Reynoldsburg City Schools. Thank you. From Lynsey Johnson, one of her students: Mrs. McDonald was such a helpful teacher when I was in her class. She always had a smile on her face and her spirit was awesome. I will miss her deeply.

Daivd and Jason,

Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Sid was such a good friend who we learned so much from--we will cherish our times together and have so many wonderful memories! She was such an inspiration to her students and to others. She now no longer suffers and is at peace with God enjoying those Pepsi's that she so loved!! Heaven is a happier place now that Sid is there!

Mrs. McDonald was my teacher in the 3rd and 4th grade at Rosehill. She was an awesome teacher and made school fun for some of us who had a harder time at school. We were lucky to have her.

To all of Sid's family,
There was never a more dedicated, loving, caring friend and Special Education teacher to work with kids than Sid. I will always have fond memories of our first year of teaching together at RJHS, becoming close friends, and all the times she and I spent together sharing the good and the toughest of times. I'm thankful that her physical battles are over - she deserves the peace and contentment she now has in the arms of Jesus.
Love and prayers to you all.
