Thomas "Tom" Andreas Obituary
Andreas Thomas "Tom" Andreas, passed away at his home on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at the age of 62. Tom is survived by his loving wife, Patti of 22 years. They were married in Columbus on June 23, 1995. Tom is lovingly remembered by his sons, Chris and Jason Andreas, his son, Stephen Bustell and wife, Lindsay, and his daughter, Katie Binns and husband, Kyle. He is also survived by his brother, Rick Andreas and wife, Sue, and their daughter, Kaiti. Tom is predeceased by his parents Charles and Maxine Andreas. Tom was born in Charleston, West Virginia on May 18, 1955 and graduated from George Washington High School in 1973. He earned his Bachelor's degree from Franklin University in 1977. After several years working in the private sector, Tom earned his CPA in 1989 and opened his first accounting practice shortly thereafter. In 2005, he founded Andreas Business and Tax Solutions with his wife Patti. Together they enjoyed a successful practice for ten years with the support of loyal clientele he had developed over the years. They closed their practice in 2015 to focus their energies on his battle against cancer. Tom was an Eagle Scout with a deep love for the outdoors all his life; he loved fishing, camping and having coffee on the beach at sunrise with his wife Patti. He was a competitive pool player, an avid Blues and Rock music fan, and a devoted family man. A visitation will be held from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Monday, May 22, 2017 at COTNER FUNERAL HOME, 7369 E. Main St., Reynoldsburg, OH, where a Celebration of Tom's life will be held at 6:30 p.m. Tom's family would appreciate live plants in his memory.
