Daniels Wayne D. Daniels, 81, passed away Monday, April 3, 2017 at Colonial Manor in Loudonville. Born January 6, 1936 in Lake Mills, WI, Wayne was a veteran of the US Navy. For more than 25 years he served as a Firefighter under the Division of Fire & Medic in Columbus and surrounding areas. His badge number was #907 and co-workers appreciated his delicious cooking. He was also a skilled woodworker who loved spending time with his family. Wayne was always telling a joke and drinking a cup of black coffee. He is survived by his wife, Judy Daniels of Butler; children, Keith (Margo) Daniels, Mark (Julie) Daniels, Lori (Dan) McCabe, Jeffrey (Pam) Wharton, Cheryl Villa, and Christine (Don) Taylor; grandchildren, Tara Doughty, Brian Daniels, Drew Daniels, Nick Daubert, Jennifer Grubbs, Katie Daniels, Matthew Long, Christopher Shearer, Eric Young, Kristin Young, and David Wharton; great-grandchildren, Lucia Daniels, Vada Grubbs, Naveyda Long, Gracie Lee, Justin Doughty, and Jayden Doughty; sister-in-law, Laura Belcher; close friend, Tim Whatman. Friends may call 1:30-3 p.m. Saturday, April 8, 2017 in Three Crosses, A United Methodist Fellowship in Butler, where a memorial service will begin at 3 p.m. with Pastor Brandon Keck officiating.
