William Stephenitch Obituary
Stephenitch, William
1937 - 2017
William Francis Stephenitch, 80, of New Albany, Ohio passed away July 14, 2017. He was born in Amboy, Illinois May 16, 1937 to Frank and Mary (Farley) Stephenitch. Bill (aka Billy Frank and Popill) will be forever missed by his loving wife, Jane (Fitzpatrick) Stephenitch of 53 years, his children: Michele (Dave) Kinnick, Bill (Christine), and Tom Stephenitch, his grandchildren: Katie, James, and Tom Kinnick and Frankie Stephenitch. He is also survived by brother, James (Willie) Stephenitch of Colorado. Bill proudly served in the United States Marine Corps from 1955 -1963. He worked successfully in the vending industry for over 45 years on the state and national level and was an avid golfer with the mantra: "If you had fun you won". Though his greatest accomplishment in his mind was his family, Bill will be best remembered by others for his infectious laugh, sense of humor and outgoing personality. Bill was a faithful friend, always a shoulder to lean on, and had a positive impact on so many people. A special thank you from the family goes out to all the wonderful people who cared for Bill at The James Cancer Hospital at The Ohio State University. Pursuant to his wishes, the family held a private celebration of Bill's life and there will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Ohio State University Foundation for benefit of the Cancer Strategic Support Fund (313545) at the James. OSU Foundation, 1480 W. Lane Ave., Columbus, OH 43221, 614-292-2141 or www.giveto.osu.edu. Online condolences can be made at ohiocremation.org.
