Howard "Aaron" Conkel

CONKEL Howard "Aaron" Conkel, age 31, of Columbus, OH, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Tuesday, November 25, 2008. His father and mother, Howard and Billie, sisters, April (Barry), Becci (Marc) and precious daughters, Kaylee, Olivia, and Abigail, niece, Kaity, nephews, Isaac and Luke, and aunt, Helen, will forever cherish the memories of Aaron and find peace in the assurance that he is resting now in the Lord's care. Aaron's kind heart will also be missed and remembered by many friends and loved ones. Aaron was accepted into the Bradford School of Culinary Arts and was due to start in March. Family will receive friends Sunday, November 30, 5-7 p.m. at Canaan Land FWB Church, 2777 Gantz Rd., Grove City, OH 43123. Service will be held on Monday, December 1, 1 p.m. at Canaan Land FWB Church. Reverend Alan Wright and Reverend Mike Blanton officiating. Entombment Green Lawn Mausoleum. I miss you a lot today. I know you're in a heavenly place and can't read this, but....
It's been a year since you left us. It's really hard now, especially with deer season. Dad is having a hard time. He doesn't say much, but I can see it in his eyes. My heart still hurts. I often think of how much more time we as a family were spending together. You came back to us, I think, only for God to give us that very special part of you before He had to take you. I thank God for the last few months before you left us. I cry and think about you every day. I miss you.

Howard,Billie and Girls. it has been a year since Aaron left us. He is in my thoughts almost daily, I will see someone who looks like him, acts like him, or see the pain still in Howard and Billies eyes. We all still miss Aaron so much but can talk about him with peace because we know he is at peace with our heavenly Father. Becci and April I know you miss your brother but just hang onto the happy memories and the Lord will see us all thru the sad times, if he brings us to it, He will bring us thru it. My heart aches. I often think of Aaron and smile; I remember the ornery things he did, and I remember the sweetheart kid that he was. I have often wondered about him as an adult and how he was doing.
