Our memories of Robert go back to our Lincoln Park days and all the way forward. Even though we haven't seen each other for a few years he will always be remembered for his humor and warm friendship. Robert was one of life's constants in that you always knew who you were getting that beguiling smile and great humor. The world has lost a good Black man. Rest in peace, Brother. To the family, know that the pain of loss will pass but keep his memory alive and know that God is in charge.

Dear Family of Robert Taylor Jr., My condolences to you . Robert and I were high school classmates and although we didn't see each other a lot over the years whenever we did he was always the same - friendly and contagiously funny. I remember the laughs we shared at our 40th high school reunion dinner. He will be missed.

Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord...To the Taylor Family: I last saw Bob on 11/22/2008 at my Father's funeral. The two of them use to work together for the City. Also we graduated from East together in '67. Bob was good people who you could count on even in bad times. Lift up your heads O ye gates. Even in the bad times Praise God because He is worthy.
