Charles, Sally Family,
When I was a young boy, my two brothers and I lived accross the street from you and your 3 boys and later on when I got married and was raising my own family, we coincidently ended up moving back to the same street where I was raised and where again was living directly accross from you but Mark, Keth and Kevin had already moved on. I was always impressed with the order in which you kept your lives and the giving nature you both had to your friends and family. We have ran into each other since then and most recently a couple years ago when I was visiting my mom Libby who lives on Arcaro in Gahanna. I know how committed and involved you both are in all three of your sons lives and the lives of your grand children. Yesterday I was first made aware of this untimely and unthinkable loss to your son, his wife and the entire family and feel so heartbroken for all of you and especially sorry that I could not pay my respects in person as I was not aware of what had taken place until after the services. A good friend of mine who knows Daniel's other Grandmother was the one who made a remark to me as to whether I knew an Arnold family since we lived in Gahanna and proceeded to give me the details. It is so difficult to deal with the loss of a child and even more so when you come to find out what a remarkable young man he was with so much of a positive future ahead of him. I was never introduced to your son Kevin or his wife, but I hope you can pass on to them for me and Cindy that we will be praying very hard for all of them and your entire family and admire the faith and grace you all have displayed in dealing with this unthinkable loss. That alone is a valuable gift you have given others as a testiment to your faith that many will learn from and will hopefully apply to their personal lives. I know I will.
My deapest sympothy and condolences,
Gregg Herbst and Family
