Heather Paige Brooks Obituary
BROOKS Heather Paige Brooks, age 16, of Columbus, formerly of Canal Winchester, died unexpectedly Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at her residence. Born May 20, 1996 in Columbus, she was a junior at Franklin Heights High School. She was employed at Tim Horton's, and enjoyed photography, writing poetry, and music. Survived by her mother, Jennifer Brooks; sister, Veronica Nott; grandparents, James and Sarah Hoover, Charles Alexander; and many other relatives and friends. Heather left this world to go somewhere to find everlasting peace and comfort. She was a bright, amazing young lady. She was a sister, a daughter, a granddaughter, a niece, and a friend to all. She had dreams. She wanted to go away to school for social work and get her degree. Heather wanted to help children the way she had been helped. She loved animals, but her first love was always cats. She was loved by so many and has left so many lives forever changed. With the sixteen years we had, so much was learned from Heather, and she gave so much. With the years that were given, Heather left her stamp on the world, and she left her family and friends making them such better people than they ever were before they met her. Visitation will be 2-5 p.m. Sunday at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, 650 W. Waterloo St., Canal Winchester, where funeral service will follow at 5 p.m. Private interment will be at Union Grove Cemetery. Donations may be made in Heather's name to Big Brothers Big Sisters of America. Online condolences at www.spencefuneralhome.com
