Vincent J. "Vinny" Astolfi

Astolfi Vincent J. "Vinny" Astolfi, age 82, of Grove City, Ohio, formerly of Warren, Ohio, passed away April 16, 2014 at his residence. Vinny retired from General Electric- Ohio Lamp. He loved to sing, play his guitar, gardening, watching the Cleveland Indians and his work bowling league. He was preceded in death by his sisters Tillie Fiorino and Josephine Crain. A beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother he leaves his wife, Betty of 48 years; his children, John (Lucy) Astolfi, Vicki (Gary) Jacobs, Terri Astolfi, Joseph (Janice) Astolfi, Laurie Astolfi, Barbara (Brian) Fonderlin and Pamela (Mark) Beres; brother, Archie (Eve) Astolfi; and sisters, Rose (Pat) Dixon and Helen (Whitey) Taneri; his dear grandchildren, Sara, Bryon (Megan), Cory, Briana, Brooke and Jake; great grandchildren, Evan and Colin. Friends may visit Monday from 6-8 p.m. at THE SPENCE-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 2697 Columbus Street, Grove City, Ohio, where funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday. Interment will follow at Concord Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Heartland Hospice, The Wounded Warrior Project or The Alzheimer's Association in his memory.
