Robert Piggott Obituary
Robert Woody Piggott, age 62, passed away on March 27, 2013 in Atlanta, Georgia.
Born in Davenport, Iowa, Bob was the son of the late Robert Crawford Piggott and Juanita Woody Piggott.
He is survived by his wife, Lois LeFevre Piggott of Atlanta, Georgia; his son, Rhyne Piggott (Whitney) of Brooklyn, New York; his daughter, Lucie Burchfield (John) of Murfreesboro; step daughter, Natalie Noll of Tampa, Florida; step son, John Noll of St. Petersburg, Florida; three grandchildren, Harrison, Mary Evans and Opal; sister, Jane Henderson (Dick) of Raleigh, North Carolina; brother, Tom Piggott (Mary) of Wilson, North Carolina.
Bob was a 1972 graduate of the University of the South with a BA degree in English. He was a member of the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity.
An avid reader, Bob was always current on news events of the day and welcomed a good spirited debate with others. He was usually in the midst of a project around his home and enjoyed the challenges of renovating the homes in which he lived.
An Internment service will be scheduled at a later date.
Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, GA will be handling the arrangements.

Jane and Tom
I was deeply saddened upon hearing of Bob's passing. I still have fond memories of our family vacations at Center Hill Lake in the 1960s and my father telling young Bobbie to stop doing sit ups in his sleep. I am so sorry for your loss.

Jane, I am so sorry to hear of Bob's passing. You both were such a big part of making our high school days fun. My brother Geoff died when he was 58. We have lost our brothers too soon. My love to you, Melanie Waters Bigelow
