Rudy departed this life at 3:15 a.m. on Thursday, November 1, 2018 at Baton Rouge General Hospital in Baton Rouge, Louisiana at the age of 63 years. He was born to Oraline Harvey and Samuel LeBeouf Jr. on September 14, 1955 in Donaldsonville. He was baptized at the Nazarene Baptist Church by Rev. David Joseph, Sr. and remained a member until his passing. He attended Lowery High School. Rudy also attended at Westside College in Plaquemine.

Rudy, a native of Barton, Louisiana, worked as a truck driver for Jamie Ponville Trucking Company in Pierre Part, Louisiana where he developed lifelong and dedicated friendships.

Rudy leaves to cherish his memories, a devoted daughter, Latoya Harvey of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; his sons, Marlon and Rudy Harvey Jr. of Donaldsonville, Louisiana. Four grandchildren: Marlon C. Harvey, Tianna Harvey, Trey Harvey and Tyrion Harvey. Three sisters Angela LeBeouf, Trudye Thomas, and Mona Faye LeBeouf all of Donaldsonville, Louisiana, brother Nick Harvey of Donaldsonville, Louisiana, brother in law Andrew Jones of Donaldsonville, Louisiana. Two aunts Annie Mae (Roland) Gaines and Barbara (Ronald) Henry of Donaldsonville, Louisiana. Two uncles Willard (Rose) of Houston, Texas, and Larry Harvey of Donaldsonville, Louisiana, and a host of relatives and friends.

Rudy is preceded in death by his parents Samuel LeBeouf Jr. and Oraline Harvey; maternal grandparents James and Castoria Harvey; paternal grandparents Samuel LeBeouf Sr. and Madora Comeaux; brother Paul LeBeouf, Jr. and sister Pauline Jones.

Visitation Friday Nov 9, 2018 4-6 p.m. at Demby and Son Funeral Home. Visiting continues 10 a.m. at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 2129 Hwy 1 Donaldsonville, La. on Saturday November 10, 2018 until Homegoing Celebration at 11 a.m., conducted by Rev. Charles Brown, Sr., Pastor. Interment in the church cemetery.
