Lori Ellyn Bierman
Madison - Lori Ellyn Bierman passed away at St. Mary's hospital Madison, Wisconsin on August 12, 2018 from complications of surgery and a stroke. Lori was born in Milwaukee, Wl on November 9, 1961. She was the daughter of Richard A. and Claire Goodrich Bierman.
Lori attended Homestead High School in Mequon and graduated from Gibraltar High School in Fish Creek, Wl. She also graduated from the University of Wisconsin in Madison with a B.S Degree in Nursing and a Master's Degree in Educational Administration. She was a lifetime member of the UW Foundation. Lori was affiliated with many community groups in Madison and her neighborhood.
She enjoyed learning and working with others and used these skills as the School Nurse for the Fort Atkinson School District. She also worked for the Jackson Foundation in Madison.
She also enjoyed volunteering for organizations including St. Vincent. Lori was always involved helping others and will be missed by many with whom she had contact.
Lori is survived by her parents, her brother Richard, his wife Karen, his children Christopher and Megan Bierman. She is also survived by her faithful and caring partner Tim Dittl. Lori has two children, Daniel Laishes and Andrew Laishes whom she loved dearly.
Her Aunt and Uncle Pat and Elaine Sandilands were also a part of Lori's life.
Lori will be missed by her family and all who knew her throughout her life.
Memorials may be sent to the charity of your choice in honor of Lori.
