Kurt Robertson Obituary
Robertson, Kurt

Kurt Roy Robertson, 60, of Brussels, passed away at home after a brief illness. He was born on Sept. 12, 1953, in Sturgeon Bay to James and Eileen (Liebe) Robertson. On Oct. 11, 1975, he married Susan Jadin in Brussels.

Kurt earned a bachelor's degree in business/finance/economics at Carroll College in Waukesha and had a 38 year career in computer sales. He was preparing for retirement and was scheduled to graduate from the Emmaus Program (Pastoral Leadership Program) of the Green Bay Diocese. Kurt had been very active in his church serving as parish council president, a Eucharist minister, and leading various prayer services.

Kurt was a great dad and enjoyed being involved in his sons' activities when they were young, including cub scouts, boy scouts and soccer.

As an avid packer fan, Kurt missed only one game in 40 years for the birth of his son Jonathan. He enjoyed having a good time and the company of many good friends throughout his life.

Survivors include his wife, two sons, Paul Robertson, Brussels; and Jonathan Robertson, Milwaukee; his mother, Eileen Robertson, Sturgeon Bay; a sister, Cheryl Robertson, Sturgeon Bay; two brothers, Kris Robertson, Sturgeon Bay; and Dale (Cathleen) Robertson, Appleton; and many special friends. He was preceded in death by his father.

A mass of Christian burial will be conducted at St. Francis and St. Mary Parish in Brussels at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 3, 2014, with Deacon Paul Zenefski and Rev. Pius Cotter officiating. Friends may call at the Forbes Funeral Home in Sturgeon Bay on Friday from 4-7:00 p.m. and at the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. A prayer service is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.

The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to all of those who offered support during Kurt's illness.
