Kathleen Elizabeth Kropp, 90, of Durant, passed away Tuesday, July 22, 2014.
Kathleen was born January 17, 1924 to Fred & Mattie Dowdle, in Smokemont, NC. She married James Kropp of Durant, OK on July 20, 1941. She was a member of a non-denominational Christian fellowship.
She is survived by two daughters, Wanda & husband Glenn Trapp of Durant, OK, and Joyce Cothran of Caddo, OK; two sons, David & wife Maria Kropp of Edmond, OK and Stan & wife Maggie Kropp of Cartwright, OK; Eight grandchildren: Anneta & husband Glen Griffee of Marysville, KS; Joe & wife Jessica Trapp of League City, TX; Treva & husband Robby Smith of Shreveport, LA; Kevin & wife Shelby Kropp of Mead, OK; Kelly & wife Cici Kropp of Stillwater, OK; Julie Krista and husband Dave Crowell of Edmond, OK; Evelyn and husband Eddie Lorents of Oklahoma City, OK; Michael Meyers of Oklahoma City, OK; and 12 Great-grandchildren.
Other survivors include one sister: Cecile Camplain of Arlington, TX, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two brothers; four sisters; and one grandson, Chase Martin.
The family will receive friends from 7-8pm Thursday, July 24 at Holmes Coffey Murray Funeral Home in Durant, OK. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, July 25th, at Holmes Coffee Murray Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Calera.
