November 17, 1925 - February 23, 2021 It is with great sadness we announce the passing of IVAN KLINC on February 23, 2021 at the age of 95. Ivan now joins his beloved wife Sylvia (nee Pokrivac) who pre- deceased him in November 2003 and who he missed dearly. Loving father of Robert and Myra and son-in-law Brian Carr. Cherished grandpa of Devon, Braedon and Brianna. He left Slovenia in December 1951 and came to Canada to start a better life for himself and his family. In 1962 he started working as a machine repairman for GM where he worked for 28 years. He was also our home repairman where he would fix everything and anything from watches to appliances to cars. There seemed to be nothing he couldn't fix or build and he loved keeping busy with his projects. After retiring, nothing brought him more joy than spending time with his grandchildren. He was devoted to his family and so very proud of his grandchildren who adored him. Words cannot express how much we will miss him, but he will forever live on in our hearts. A private family service will be held at a later date.
